Local indie game studio Bermuda Island Games is offering a 6 week course this month for anyone who wants to learn Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator and Blender.
“We have partnered once again with Warwick Academy and the Economic Development Department to be able to share our knowledge and inspire the next generation of digital artists and video game designers here in Bermuda”.
Founder Adrian Lodge writes, “This is part of our vision to develop a video game development industry in Bermuda, to engage the community who are interested in video games, and to encourage the creatives to look beyond the typical 9-5 for a potential career in something they enjoy”.
“We are working with some of the best talent Bermuda has to offer, and allowing them to impart their skills on the most popular software platforms in use today – Photoshop, Illustrator and Blender. For anyone interested in this field, this is an opportunity you do not want to miss.”
This course is a part of a series of courses that Bermuda Island Games is looking to provide this year, aimed at teaching video game basics, programming and digital artwork. Bermuda Island Games also plans to offer the E-Sports Summer Camp again this summer.
The 6 week course costs $360 for those aged 18 and older, and will be held each Wednesday at Warwick Academy from 5-6pm, starting on February 15th, 2023. There are only 10 spots available, so sign up now.
